National City’s seminars may be approved for CTP/CMM credit. Those seminars that are approved are noted with the AFP logo. Upon completion of the approved seminar, you will receive a recap e-mail that will include an AFP certification document. This document may be used as proof to AFP that you completed the approved seminar.
AFP states that it is the continuing responsibility of each CTP and CCM to maintain records documenting continuing education activities. A copy of a certificate of completion, a completion confirmation from the sponsoring organization or a transcript is adequate documentation. AFP reserves the right to audit a certificate holder's records. Any credits that cannot be documented during the audit process will be disqualified. CTPs and CCMs should retain documentation of all programs for two full years after completing each three-year recertification cycle in the event of an audit.
NOTE: Continuing educational qualifying activities on approved topic areas need not be sponsored or pre-approved by AFP.
